Dual Deception

The taxi driver stopped the car abruptly. Dovid looked out the window. They were surrounded by a field of grass. What’s going on here? This driver has been acting odd from the start. And this route is strange too. “Why are we stopping?” Dovid asked.

The driver didn’t say anything at all; he just got out of the car. Dovid followed him angrily.

“What’s going on here? Where are we?” he yelled. Suddenly, he choked on his words… when the cold metal of a gun pressed against his temple.
