One day, Goebbels visited an elementary school to talk to the children. In one classroom, he went around the room, asking each child to recite a patriotic slogan. Each child did so, and he finally got to the last boy. When asked to say one, the boy obediently declared, “Our race will live on forever!” Goebbels was very pleased and asked the boy for his name. His reply?

“Israel Goldstein, sir.”
