Auschwitz Album (The)

The Auschwitz Album is a unique photographic record of the Holocaust during the Second World War. The album contains almost 200 photographs taken by the SS and found by Lili Meier after the war. It is the only surviving visual evidence of the process leading to the mass murder at Auschwitz-Birkenau. It is a powerful document and serves as a poignant testimony to the atrocities committed during the Holocaust.
