Heinrich Ewald
Heinrich Ewald was a German orientalist, theologian, and historian. Born on November 16, 1803, in Göttingen, Germany, he became one of the most respected scholars in the fields of Old Testament criticism and Semitic languages. Ewald was a professor at the University of Göttingen and made significant contributions to the understanding of the Hebrew Bible and the history of Israel.
