Otto Scharmer

C. Otto Scharmer is a Senior Lecturer at MIT and the founding chair of the Presencing Institute. He holds a Ph.D. from Witten/Herdecke University in Germany. Scharmer introduced the concept of 'presencing' — a social technology of leading profound change that has been practiced by organizations and individuals around the world. He has co-authored several books and articles that emphasize transformation in people, relationships, and society.
