David Kroyanker

David Kroyanker is an Israeli architect and architectural historian specializing in the architecture of Jerusalem. Born in Jerusalem in 1939, he studied architecture at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and later pursued further studies in urban planning at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Kroyanker is best known for his comprehensive documentation and analysis of the architectural history of Jerusalem. His work has significantly contributed to the understanding and appreciation of the city's built environment, spanning various periods and styles from historical to modern architecture. Over his career, Kroyanker has authored numerous books and articles, becoming a pivotal figure in Israeli architectural culture.
