Vicki Mackenzie

Vicki Mackenzie is a British journalist and author who has written extensively on Buddhist themes. She has been a practicing Buddhist since 1976 and has spent considerable time in India and Nepal, studying under some of the most preeminent Tibetan teachers of our time. Her works often focus on the lives and teachings of Buddhist practitioners, and she aims to make the principles of Buddhist teachings accessible to a broader audience. Mackenzie's books, including 'Cave in the Snow' which chronicles the life of Tenzin Palmo, an Englishwoman who spent twelve years in solitary retreat in the Himalayas, have been well-received for their insightful and engaging narratives.
