Rav Mordechai Schwab
Rav Mordechai Schwab (1911-1991) was a prominent Orthodox rabbi and a disciple of the Mir Yeshiva in Poland, one of the most prestigious Torah institutions of its time. After surviving the Holocaust, he emigrated to the United States where he continued his educational and rabbinical work. He was known for his deep knowledge of Talmudic law and Jewish philosophy, and he served as a spiritual leader in the Jewish community in Monsey, New York. His teachings and ethical insights were highly regarded, and he was a mentor to many students and young rabbis throughout his career. His approach to Jewish law and tradition was both rigorous and compassionate, making him a beloved figure among his followers and within the broader Jewish community.
