Lydia Davis

Lydia Davis is an American writer noted for her short stories and translations. She is a professor of creative writing at the University at Albany, SUNY, and was awarded the 2003 MacArthur Fellowship. Davis is best known for her concise, intriguingly ambiguous, and meticulously crafted stories that challenge traditional narrative forms. Her work often explores human relationships and the complexities of the human mind.
