Gary L. Bauer
Gary Lee Bauer is an American politician and activist known for his work on family values and conservative Christian beliefs. Born on May 4, 1946, in Covington, Kentucky, Bauer attended Georgetown Law School and later served in various positions under the Reagan administration, including as Under Secretary of Education and Chief Domestic Policy Advisor. After his time in government, Bauer became president of the Family Research Council and later ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for President in 2000. He is a significant figure in the conservative movement in the U.S., advocating for pro-life positions, traditional marriage, and religious freedom.
