James C. Dobson

James Clayton Dobson, Jr. is an American evangelical Christian author, psychologist, and founder in 1977 of Focus on the Family (FOTF), which he led until 2003. Born on April 21, 1936, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dobson earned his Ph.D. in child development from the University of Southern California.
