Rabbi Noson Sternhartz

Rabbi Noson (Nathan) of Breslov (1780–1844), also known as Reb Noson, was the foremost disciple and scribe of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, the founder of the Breslov Hasidic dynasty. Reb Noson played a crucial role in preserving and disseminating the teachings of Rebbe Nachman, whose innovative approach to Jewish spirituality has continued to inspire many followers worldwide. After Rebbe Nachman’s death, Reb Noson collected and arranged his teachings in several works, ensuring that his master’s spiritual legacy would endure. He also authored many original works that elaborated on Rebbe Nachman’s teachings, providing guidance and insight for future generations of Breslov Hasidim.
