Rabbi Lawrence Hajioff

Rabbi Lawrence Hajioff is an educational director at the Jewish Enrichment Center in Manhattan. Educated in London, he graduated with honors in political science from Manchester University. After working for MTV in news production, and moonlighting as a stand-up comedian, he traveled to study in Israel and then Monsey, New York. Rabbi Hajioff received rabbinical ordination from Yeshiva University where he completed his master’s degree in education. He also has a master’s degree in medieval Jewish history.

Rabbi Hajioff’s classes, which connect contemporary issues with Jewish themes, are extremely popular and have taken him to speak in locations around the world including Israel, England, South Africa, and across the United States. He has been instrumental in helping thousands of young professionals reconnect with their Jewish heritage.

As an author, Rabbi Hajioff has written several books aimed at providing insights into Jewish spirituality and clarity on complex topics within Jewish theology. His engaging style and ability to simplify deep concepts have made his books and lectures highly appreciated by his audiences.
