Kenneth L Hanson

Kenneth L. Hanson is an associate professor in the University of Central Florida’s Judaic Studies Program. He earned his Ph.D. in Hebrew Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in ancient and medieval Jewish culture. Dr. Hanson has a passion for uncovering and teaching the historical and religious dimensions of the Jewish tradition.

He is an accomplished author who has written several books that explore various aspects of Jewish history and culture, including 'Kabbalah: Three Thousand Years of Mystic Tradition' and 'Words of Light: Spiritual Wisdom from the Dead Sea Scrolls'. His works often bridge the gap between scholarly research and accessible writing, making complex historical and religious concepts understandable to a broader audience.
