Moses
Moses, a central figure in the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions, is traditionally credited with leading the Israelites out of Egypt and receiving the Ten Commandments from God. While he is best known for his role in the Exodus and the establishment of the covenant at Mount Sinai, Moses is also attributed with the authorship of Psalm 90. This psalm is a prayer for God's blessing and a reflection on the transience of human life in contrast to God's eternal nature. Moses' life and works have had a profound impact on religious thought and practice, emphasizing themes of liberation, law, and leadership. His psalm reflects his deep relationship with God and his understanding of human frailty and divine eternity.
