King Solomon
King Solomon, also known as Solomon ben David, was traditionally attributed as the author of several biblical books, including the Song of Songs. Solomon was the son of King David and Bathsheba and is most famous for his wisdom, wealth, and building projects, notably the First Temple in Jerusalem. His reign is often considered the peak of the Israelite monarchy in terms of prosperity and stability. The historical accuracy of his authorship has been debated among scholars, with many suggesting that the Song of Songs was written by multiple authors or during a later period.
