Chaim Ben Atar
Chaim Ben Atar, also known as the Ohr HaChaim, was a prominent rabbi and Torah commentator born in 1696 in Morocco. He is renowned for his works in Jewish law and mysticism, and his commentary on the Torah is highly respected and widely studied in Jewish communities worldwide. In 1733, he moved to the Land of Israel, settling in Jerusalem, where he continued his scholarly work until his death in 1743. His contributions to Jewish thought and law have left a lasting legacy, influencing many subsequent scholars and spiritual leaders.
