Yehuda Leib HaLevi Ashlag

Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, also known as Baal HaSulam for his Sulam (ladder) commentary on The Book of Zohar, was a renowned Kabbalist born in Warsaw, Poland in 1884. He moved to Israel in the 1920s where he established a Kabbalistic group and wrote extensive commentaries on Kabbalistic texts, aiming to make the teachings of Kabbalah understandable and accessible to everyone. His works emphasize the importance of spiritual attainment and internal transformation through the study of Kabbalah.
