Haim Hillel Ben-Sasson

Haim Hillel Ben-Sasson (1914–1977) was a distinguished Israeli historian and professor who specialized in Jewish medieval history. Born in Warsaw, Poland, he immigrated to Mandatory Palestine in 1935 and later pursued his academic career at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ben-Sasson's work significantly contributed to the understanding of Jewish intellectual history and the socio-economic conditions of Jews in medieval Europe.
