Ogyen Trinley Dorje
Ogyen Trinley Dorje, born in 1985 in Tibet, is recognized as the 17th Karmapa Lama within the Karma Kagyu sect of Tibetan Buddhism. He made a dramatic escape from Tibet to India in 2000, gaining international attention. As a spiritual leader, he has focused on issues such as environmental conservation, vegetarianism, and the preservation of Tibetan culture.
