Rav Kalonymus Kalman Shapira, also known as the Rebbe of Piaseczno, was born on May 19, 1889, in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland. He was a prominent Hasidic rebbe and a spiritual leader who was deeply involved in the education and welfare of Jewish youth. His innovative educational methods and profound spiritual teachings made him a beloved figure among his followers.

During the Holocaust, Rav Shapira continued to teach and inspire his community, even within the confines of the Warsaw Ghetto.
