Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill was an American self-help author who is widely considered to be one of the greatest writers on success. His most famous work, 'Think and Grow Rich' (1937), is one of the best-selling books of all time. Hill's works insisted that fervid expectations are essential to improving one's life. Most of his books were promoted as expounding principles to achieve 'success'.

Hill was born in a one-room cabin near the Appalachian town of Pound in Southwest Virginia. His works examined the power of personal beliefs, and the role they play in personal success. 'What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve' is one of Hill's hallmark expressions. How achievement actually occurs, and a formula for it that puts success in reach of the average person, were the focal points of Hill's books.

After a long career writing, teaching, and lecturing about the principles of success, Hill died in 1970 in South Carolina. His work has influenced a wide array of people from sales professionals to entrepreneurs to motivational speakers. Napoleon Hill's philosophy of success continues to have a significant impact on the lives of both individuals and organizations around the world.
