Yetzias Mitzrayim is the foundation of our life. A life without connection to Yetzias Mitzrayim is a life missing it's essence. Yetzias Mitzrayim is mentioned in the first of the ten commandments, teaching us that Hashem is with Bnei Yisrael in all circumstances and this is the foundation of our emunah. On the Passover night, we re-live all that occurred, not as a memory, but rather, to build on to the emunah and bitachon that was acquired with the revelation of the Shechinah in Mitzrayim. We were shown the personal care that Hashem has for His nation, as we were being lifted from the tight grasps of Mitzrayim, even though we were not surrounded by mitzvos. It was a lesson shown to all future generations that Hashem is with us even when one is found immersed in impurity.Yetzias Mitzrayim and the miracles that came with it, was a prerequisite to receiving the Torah. All of the miracles performed through Moshe Rabeinu were a preparation for Kabalas HaTorah. If a person wants to grasp, understand, and know Hashem (as best as one can) - it can all be learned from Yetzias Mitzrayim, which includes everything Hashem wanted to reveal in the world. It is a foundation of emunah that is presented in this sefer, helping one prepare themselves to grow through the holy seder night.
