We’re looking for a friendly, dependable team member who can step in on short notice to help cover shifts at our bookstore when regular staff are unavailable. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, loves books, and can adapt easily to different tasks and schedules. The position also has the potential to develop into a larger role at our store.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and assist shoppers in finding books and other items
- Handle sales transactions at the register
- Restock shelves and maintain an organized store environment
- Support staff during busy hours or when team members are away
- Assist with basic store operations as needed
Requirements
- Strong reliability — must be available on short notice
- Friendly and professional customer interaction
- Basic familiarity with cash registers or willingness to learn
- Comfort working independently once trained
- Previous retail or bookstore experience preferred but not required
- Preferred: Familiarity with Religious Jewish community
- Israeli Citizenship or Work Visa
- Fluent English
- Basic Hebrew

This position is temporary/flexible, to provide coverage during the coming months while a team member is frequently away. Additional hours may. Additional hours my be available depending on store needs.
