The Future of Friendship

How can we connect to our friends?
How can we really help them?
All of us have the wherewithal to warm the hearts of others. We can help those we care about feel understood and supported. We can cultivate a listening heart by climbing out of ourselves, noticing others and life around us.
And there's more. We can daven for our friends and family. We can hold their hands and let them know we care for them. And we can share an important life attitude with them, over and over. If the fundamental Jewish attitude of growth to keep moving and actualizing our potential, as individuals and as a nation rubs off on them even a little bit, we will have lived up to the word friend.
Community needs cultivation. Friendship needs cultivation. How can we support our friends and receive the support we need? That is The Future of Friendship.
