Pomeranz Book Token — US Dollars ($)
The Pomeranz Book Token is store credit you can use to buy books from our shop in Jerusalem or on our website. This is the US Dollar version — its value is held in US dollars ($). If you'd prefer a token in shekels, choose our Shekel gift certificate instead.
Key details:
- Held in US dollars. You load a fixed dollar value (for example $100) and the token is always worth that amount in dollars.
- No expiration. The token stays valid until its full value is used.
- You choose the value. Select any of the available dollar amounts.
- Redeemed online. Use the code at checkout on our website. (In-store redemption of a dollar certificate is not currently available — please ask a staff member.)
- Partial use allowed. Any remaining balance stays on the token until fully spent.
- Transferable. The token may be given to someone else.
Conditions of use:
- Currency. This token is issued and redeemed in US Dollars (USD). When it is applied to an order priced in shekels, the dollar value is converted at the exchange rate in effect at the time of redemption.
- Not exchangeable for cash. The token cannot be returned, refunded, or redeemed for money.
- Non-replaceable if lost or stolen unless you provide the original purchase receipt or order number.
- Price changes may occur. Book prices and availability may change over time; the dollar value on the token stays the same.
- Single-store use. The token can only be redeemed at Pomeranz Bookseller and has no value elsewhere.
- Fraud prevention. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a token if we believe it was obtained or used unlawfully.
- Technical issues. If a token is damaged or unreadable, we can reissue it at our discretion once purchase details are confirmed.
How it works:
- You purchase a token and receive a unique code (digital or printed) for your chosen dollar value.
- The code is entered online at checkout or presented in-store.
- The value can be spent all at once or over multiple purchases until the balance reaches zero.
The Pomeranz Book Token is a simple way to give store credit in US dollars — no expiry date, and fair use for both the customer and the store.
