Michael J. Broyde is a professor of law at Emory University School of Law and a senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University. He is a member of the Beth Din of America, the largest Jewish law court in America. Broyde has published numerous articles and books on Jewish law and ethics. His academic work focuses on the intersection of law and religion, comparative religious law, and Jewish family law. He received his juris doctor from New York University and his rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University.
