Yosef Garfinkel

Yosef Garfinkel is an Israeli archaeologist and a professor at the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is well-known for his contributions to the understanding of the early periods of Israel, particularly the Iron Age and the Neolithic period. Garfinkel has led several significant archaeological excavations in Israel, including the famous Khirbet Qeiyafa, which provided important insights into the Kingdom of Judah during the time of King David.
