Anita Diamant

Anita Diamant is an American author and journalist best known for her novel 'The Red Tent,' which has been published in more than 25 countries and adapted into a miniseries. She has written several other novels, including 'Good Harbor,' 'The Last Days of Dogtown,' and 'Day After Night,' as well as a collection of essays, 'Pitching My Tent.'

Aside from her fiction, Diamant has made significant contributions to contemporary Jewish life through her non-fiction works. These include 'The New Jewish Wedding,' 'Living a Jewish Life,' 'Choosing a Jewish Life,' and 'How to Raise a Jewish Child,' all of which are guides to modern practices of Judaism.
