Sherwin B Nuland

Sherwin B. Nuland (1930–2014) was an American surgeon and author who taught bioethics and medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine. He is best known for his book 'How We Die: Reflections on Life's Final Chapter,' which won the National Book Award for Nonfiction in 1994. Nuland's work helped demystify the process of dying, making it a subject that could be more openly discussed and better understood.
